Each item is different. While we have pricing listed for our menu, additional designs and customizations will impact the total cost. Cake cost are determined by serving size, detail to design, and labor. Please note that what may seem to be “simple” may not be simple. In the same manner, what may seen “extravagant“ is not always extravagant. Time, effort, care, and planning go into creating each item you request.
Yes, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit must be made at the time of confirmation (When Invoice is received). For orders under $100.00, a 30% deposit is required, and orders above $100.00 require a 50% deposit. Orders that feature items listed from our "Shop" and orders placed less than 3 days are due upon confirmation. All balances are required prior to pick up or delivery.
Please Note: Payments and or Deposits for invoices are due upon receipt. If payment is not received after 24 hours invoices will be canceled.
We do offer delivery at $10.00 local (10 mile radius) $20 Standard (after 10 Miles) plus the state per mile rate. We also offer set up upon delivery at an additional cost. Please note that some cakes are extremely delicate. Should you wish to pickup your cake, we maintain that we are not responsible for any damages made once it leaves our location. Pick up is encouraged for all other sweets and baked goods.
We suggest booking as soon as you decide to use to our services. We recommend 3-6 months for weddings, 4-6 weeks for elaborate parties, and 2-4 weeks for birthdays, baby/ bridal showers, and like events. However on a case by case basis we can produce baked goods in as little as 7 days notice, at an additional cost depending on your selection. For all orders placed on our online Shop 3-Days are needed for preparation to delivery/ Pickup. Please keep in mind that we make everything TO ORDER, so it is best to oder ahead.
While we can recreate color schemes and most basic flavors , we maintain that unique= integrity. Using inspiration is always a plus. However, we want every item we produce to be just as unique as the indiviual and /or event that is being serviced. We use our own recipies, and our own technique. This is how we maintain the integrity for our creations.
We specialize in traditional Southern baked goods, cakes, and also offer catering services. Everything we make is to order which means its fresh from start to finish. Please visit our site for a list of items available for sale. Feel free to request items you’d like but don’t see, and we will provide estimates as needed.
It depends largely on your guest count. We use the Wilton estimator to determine the portion aof cakes. However, it also depends on the person cutting the cake. We recommend 2”x 2” for desert/party servings and 1”x 2” for weddings. For your treats, we suggest 3-6 options depending on how full you want your table to look.
We offer a variety of alternative and delicious recipes that fit into dietary restrictions. We are very sanitary in our production; however, we are not a 100% vegan, dairy free, gluten-free, nut-free, or allergen-free kitchen. Yes, mimimum order on dipped and sweet treats vary as follows.
➢ 1 Dozen for one Color Dipped Treats.
➢ 1 Dozen for Cupcakes (one flavor), (2 dozen for minis) and ½ dozen for Jumbo.
➢ Cookies are sold by the dozen.
➢ Hot Chocolate Bombs are a ½ dozen minimum.
Here's what you need to do:
➢ Choose a Design using an inspiring picture of something you have seen or let us create something custom for you.
➢ Will you be providing anything special for the design? (Topper? Flowers? Verbiage for inscription?)
➢ Make your deposit payment for your date to be secured on our calendar.
➢ Decide on Delivery or Pickup and let us know if you need throw a way items for display.
➢ Ensure we have all appropriate contact names & cell #’s for the Event Date.
➢ Pay your balance. We currently accept all major credit card.
➢ Time to pick up or receive delivery… Then Indulge in your sweet thing!
Orders can be placed through our website or by email. To submit an order, click on the meal orders tab and at the bottom of the page click “Order Here”. When submitting an order form, please let us know what time you would like to pick up your order; Please allow a half hour to one-hour window for all deliveries. Once your order request is received, we will send you a formal invoice along with our catering contract. A deposit and NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee is required at the time of confirmation (when invoice is received) to secure your order/ event date.
We have no hidden fees or costs, and we maintain that the prices published are the same for everyone. We will verify your complete order and make sure that you are aware of the full cost. We are here to provide you a service, should you need assistance with the amount of food to order for your event, or are looking to maintain an event budget, our goal is to meet your need to the best of our ability. All food is prepared to order and can be served as heat-maintained or at room temperature. Cold items will need to be chilled. We believe that only the best will do, so we make a commitment to freshness. For your convenience we are happy to offer “party platters” for pick-up or delivery. Also, if you do not see the food selection you are interested in please let us know, and we will do our best to fulfill your request. Please note that we are not yet a full-service catering company, because of this we have partnered with Sisters at Heart Decor & Events for all of you additional party needs. During particularly busy seasons, more notice may be required We recommend as early as 3- 6 months for weddings, 4-6 weeks for elaborate parties, and 1-2 weeks for birthdays, baby showers and gender reveals. In the case of an unanticipated event such as a memorial, we try our best to respond quickly and can complete an order in as little as 1 week to as little as three days’ notice for orders at an additional cost. Please Note: Booking availability is limited. Delivery slots fill quickly, particularly for our morning and noon windows. All deliveries have an additional fee and must be paid in advance to secure your booking and delivery window. We strongly recommend you place your order as soon as you decide to use Chrissy's Kaykes as your caterer.
We are usually able to accommodate minor changes made up to 7 days before your event unless items chosen are unique. As soon as you anticipate there may be changes please contact us and confirm your order details. When submitting an order, customers also have the option to select alternate items for substitution in the event the first selection is unavailable. All orders are final 7 DAYS before the scheduled event, and no changes can be made after this time.
All food is presented on or in plastic catering trays, throw-a-way metal trays, bowls with pop off lids, containers for reheating, or personal carryout trays depending on your specific order. They will be fully garnished and ready to serve, eat, or reheat. Should you wish to keep the platers you may do so at your discretion. To maintain our commitment to sanitation, we are unable to use any platers not provided by Chrissy’s Kaykes & Catering. For your convenience, all items are priced and listed as per person and can be ordered as an add-on on any order. However, we do have a minimum purchase requirement which are listed on our Food menu.
Yes, with advance notice we can arrange a tasting before you decide to order. Since everything is made to order, we do not offer drop-in tasting. We generally need approximately a week’s notice to schedule a tasting drop off. We charge $13 per item (enough for two to taste), minimum of three to a maximum of five items. Please note: a select few items on our menu cannot be made for tastings. If you have selected one or more of these items, we will contact you for substitutions. If you decide to place an order with us, we will deduct 50% of the tasting charges from your balance due.
Because we are a bakery and catering company, we have a wide variety of baked goods that will compliment every dish you have ordered. Feel free to check out our Sweets menu for a complete list of what we offer.
Pickup and delivery times are between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm. If special arrangements are needed, we do offer slightly earlier or later pickup times upon request. We charge the state minimum per mile after distances of 10 mile (local delivery).. If an order is so large that it requires two people and or two delivery vehicles, or if there are access challenges such as stairs, difficult parking/paid parking etc.... additional charges will apply. Parking will be at cost and stairs will be $10.00. Set up is an additional $35.00 if not previously selected. (if it has been selected please note that a longer delivery window is necessary).
Catering orders cancelled less than 7 full days before the scheduled event date will NOT be refunded.
If you have questions concerning our menu or services, please call us at (925)864.2862. If we are unable to answer your call, we will make every effort to return your call the same day. In some instances, we may not return your call until the following business day. Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. You may also contact us by leaving an inquiry on our inquiry page. Expected response times to inquiries are 24-48 hours. Please be sure to fill out both your email address and phone number. If you do not see a response by email with in 48hours, please check your junk folder. We currently accept all major credit cards, and require a credit card to guarantee all orders.
-We take the utmost care to only work with a clean bill of health, we will not work while feeling unwell.
- We wash our hands and change gloves between preparation of each item. - To ensure safe handling of food, gloves and masks are worn during all food preparation and packaging.
- All ingredients are taken out of initial packaging at the time of use in accordance of food safety guidelines.
- Our Bakery Kitchen is disinfected daily & all surfaces are cleaned between each foods preparation.
-All meals ordered are sealed with tamper proof seals.
- Safety is our priority so masks must be worn by staff and customers during food deliveries and pickups.
